Synopsis

Book presenting two stories: 1. JUNGLE EXPRESS Burma, 1945... Under the waters of the Indian Ocean, a Japanese submarine glides slowly towards its homeland. But a stopover in the Philippines will change the mission of these men, who are already aware that the war is lost. 2. Ukraine konseiryodan (ウクライナ混成旅団) 1950, the post-war period is harsh for the combatants captured by the Russians. A Japanese prisoner was assigned to dismantle and repair tanks damaged in the fighting. The beginning of a long struggle for survival, in contact with Russians and Ukrainian independence fighters.
