Panel about
Innocent
Innocent has the best art in my opinion. It is simply gorgeous when you look at the panels you are drowning in them, it is so deep and rich. And not just the drawing style, but the symbolism in it, the metaphorical exhibition it is flawless. Most people say the art is so dominant that the story is lacking, but I think the story blends in perfectly with the art: the historical French Revolution era, a man who doesn't want to be the man society wants him to be, the man his family wants him to be, and his journey to become that man. And the side cast this manga has a unique cast of characters, and I think most of them have deep meaning behind them, not just being there to drive the story. This manga has some LGBTQ themes too, if some of you are interested. It is just beautiful to read. If you've heard of this manga from somewhere, or right here just read it, you won't be disappointed. And it has a sequel too! And if you're one of the people who don't like this manga, I would love to hear your thoughts.
